Fat loss stalled? Review daily movement

English guide · Ulaş Tunç Coaching

Look beyond gym sessions

Walking, standing and other everyday movement contribute to daily activity. If your routine changes, an unchanged gym schedule does not necessarily mean unchanged total activity. Compare recent step averages before assuming your calorie target needs to drop.

Do not confuse health evidence with a fat-loss formula

A study of middle-aged adults linked higher step counts with lower mortality risk. It was observational and did not establish a universal fat-loss threshold or a fixed calorie burn per step. Seven thousand steps is not a compulsory target for every person.

A useful coaching check

Review at least two weeks of weight entries, adherence and step records. If movement fell, discuss restoring a tolerable routine before changing several variables at once. Mobility limitations, pain and your working day matter. Step data support decisions; they do not independently determine your calorie intake.
